Preparation of the waiters
Only in our school sommelier in training of waiters included "Course of wine service with a wine tasting. In preparation for the EURO 2012 "We have developed a unique training program for waiters.
After all, with the waiters most contacts include a restaurant, and the result of this communication general impression about the business. Much attention is paid to the psychology and the prevention of conflict situations.
Training Course - 1 month.
Schedule of classes - 5 days per week (total of 66 academic hours per week)
The importance of a waiter in a restaurant - to know all kinds of services, properly decorated table, serve food and drinks to order, and also to know the course enogastronomy, wine service, a psychologist, komersantom etc. After the course - is assigned to the 4 th level.
Classes are held within one month from 10.00 to 14.00 and include:
1. Waiter image - the image of the restaurant, how to maintain it.
2. Types and condition of customers, especially working with them.
3. Ethical behavior attendants. Rules for interacting with the guest
4. A theoretical course on the organization of services in restaurants (modern methods and rules of service, all kinds of banquets, diplomatic receptions, 40 forms of folding napkins, etc.)
5. Practical course on the organization of services in restaurants (the real work of a waiter at the restaurant, taking orders and serving guests, consideration of conflict situations in the service, serving all types of banquets, folding napkins 40 shapes).
6. Theoretical course on the organization of the wine service in restaurants (a new profession "Sommelier" in Ukraine, the main group of beverages served in restaurants, review the major wine regions of the world, the course Wine & gastronomy - a combination of food and drinks).
7. Practical course on the organization of the wine service in the restaurant (wine tasting and other beverages in Ukraine and other countries in the world with detailed justification for each sample and its compatibility with the dishes).
8. Demonstration of professional video for all studied subjects.
9. The final exam, after which the two documents given to the state of the sample by assigning IV categories:
Certificate of the Institute of Tourism FPA;
Certificate of "Master Class."
